With 25 years of experience, our team has helped everyone — from small startups to large corporations — get their products to market.
We know that at the heart of a good product is a good design. As your product development partner, we’ll work on all aspects of your product (electronics design component selection, architecture design, schematic capture, and PCB layout) to create a marketable device that meets user needs. Along the way, we’ll take a team approach to the development of your product, working with you to turn your idea into reality.

Neuromodulation is one of the key capabilities of C3, which made this customer a perfect fit. This wearable device delivered a scheduled therapy and was designed to be worn all day, even in the shower. The stimulation circuit design was entirely novel, utilizing all standard components, with no ASIC required. Custom wireless charging allowed for a sealed and robust enclosure. Wireless connectivity via BLE allowed for easy patient control and scheduling through a mobile application. Our low-power design experience allowed the device to run for months on a single charge.
Oftentimes, an existing product needs new life. The nebulizer market has been evolving over the years and this customer was no different. They needed to update their design to make it portable, handheld, and wirelessly connected. The original design was dated and required our electronics team to investigate and determine the best solution moving forward to prevent obsolescence and component distribution issues. We also added features for tuning, patient monitoring, and most importantly, BLE connectivity. This brought the design to modern user expectation and standards. Additionally, it enabled the customer to now collect valuable data on user engagement while helping physicians gain valuable information on patient compliance and treatment efficacy.

Our clearly defined proposal and process means you’ll know what you’re getting up front and at each stage along the way.

We’ve helped everyone from small startups to large corporations take their medical devices from idea to finished product.

Our team works with you as a partner to help you progress from the idea stage all the way to testing and manufacturing.
Take the guesswork out of the equation with our budgeting calculator and empower yourself to focus on what really matters:
Bringing innovation to life.
The electronics design process is a critical pathway for transforming concepts into functional medical devices. It involves several stages, including requirement analysis, conceptual design, detailed design, prototyping, and testing. Each stage is meticulously planned to ensure that the final product meets both regulatory standards and user needs.
For instance, during the requirement analysis phase, our team collaborates closely with clients to define the specifications and functionality of the device. This collaborative approach ensures that all stakeholder perspectives are considered, leading to a more refined and effective design. By following a structured process, we minimize risks and enhance the overall quality of the product.
Navigating the regulatory landscape is essential for any medical device development project. Understanding the requirements set forth by bodies such as the FDA is crucial to ensure compliance and successful market entry. Our team is well-versed in these regulations and can guide clients through the necessary steps.
For example, we assist clients in preparing the documentation required for FDA submissions, including pre-market notifications and design history files. This expertise not only speeds up the approval process but also helps in avoiding common pitfalls that can lead to delays or rejections. Our goal is to make the regulatory journey as smooth as possible for our clients.
Staying ahead in electronics design requires leveraging the latest technologies and methodologies. Innovations such as IoT integration, machine learning, and advanced materials are reshaping how medical devices are designed and function. By incorporating these technologies, C3 Medical ensures that our devices are not only effective but also competitive in the market.
For instance, integrating IoT capabilities allows for real-time data collection and remote monitoring, enhancing patient care and device usability. Our team continuously researches and adopts new technologies, ensuring that our clients benefit from cutting-edge solutions that address modern healthcare challenges.
Highlighting client success stories serves to demonstrate the tangible impact of our electronics design services. These case studies showcase how our collaboration has led to successful product launches, improved patient outcomes, and satisfied clients. Sharing these narratives builds trust and illustrates the effectiveness of our approach.
For example, one of our clients successfully launched a wearable device that has transformed patient monitoring. Through our partnership, they were able to navigate the complexities of design and regulatory approval, ultimately delivering a product that has received positive feedback from both healthcare providers and patients. These success stories are a testament to our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.
